I'm about to deck a few trees over the next couple of weeks on the property. These include:
- golden ash (500mm diameter)
- some elms, same size
- 6 radiata pines, approx 600mm+ diameter.
- a stack of redgum
Is any of the timber as useful turning wood? If so, what do I need to do to treat it? Seal the end grain? Store under cover?
Your thoughts will be most appreciated.
regards Jeff
