Felder diamond saw blade
Hi guys, I have recently seen this video on YouTube reviewing felders Diamond saw blade. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with the blade and is it as good as it looks? I'd pay good money for a blade that can do all that he does in the video.
And if it's not the best blade on the market, what is?
I have a Felder kf700s panel saw without a scoring unit for reference

Thank you everyone and happy Australia Day for tomorrow

Chris Parks here on the forum has one.
When I last checked, they were around the $800 mark - and that was pre-COVID

you cant sharpen that blade (diamond coated not sure if you need to?) and you need to keep it clean. the manual stresses this point...

Yes you can, but it requires special machinery; the teeth are tipped, not coated, so there is generally enough material there for at least 2-3 resharpens. They can sometimes be re-tipped as well if one is damaged
You can't use the traditional abrasive method like you do with carbide because there's no material hard enough, so the 2 options in use are erosion by electrical discharge/arc or ablation by laser; in both cases the material is essentially burnt off very accurately. I know AKE Salestech in Melbourne has an erosion machine

I've read somewhere that they can be sharpened twice normally. And thanks for the ake suggestion. They actually sell there own version of this blade that looks to be the original. I'll have to check them out too. And I'm currently selling my sawstop so I won't have that problem anymore. Haha
