What screw driver head to use to replace my CT36 E hood
I'm ready to replace my CT36 E hood.
After an hours search I can't seem to find a how to vid.
Specifically what driver head to use to remove the hood.
Any positive constructive suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
No insult nor aggravation intended.
Thanks in advance.
Thanks,

i'd imagine it is a torx head, most likely a T25 or T30.

Do you have any pictures? Preferably with a rule for scale.

Deep and dark and filled with debris.
Will have another go once the good lady wakes.
One looks like its a screw in only.
Darn
T10 is the largest I have.Thanks,

This site gives you the parts list; item 19 takes a T25 Torx screwdriver.
Commercial manufacturers will always limit the number of different fastener heads needed for construction to speed up assembling the item so there is a very good chance that all the screws will have T25 heads.Nothing succeeds like a budgie without a beak.

Spot on!
Many thanks to each and all!
I was stressed about the 7 screw holes which I've deduced is the extra three screw holes are for other vac models.
I feel like my luck (probably all the positive support from Festool owners) has changed ever since I purchased the Festool CT36E.
I'm finding, buying and selling things on GumTree at reasonable prices.
And even asked around for the Festool Vac and found someone thru a GumTree(er) who knew someone who wanted to sell at a very reasonable price and quality.
The funny thing is the vac was stolen and the police found it and returned it to the seller.
The seller had purchased another vac in the meantime and was happy to sell the stolen one.
I had ordered a new hood for the vac from Festool Australia. But was put on back order. I checked on GumTree and sure enough one was available just a few klms away.
Asked FA to cancel the order and had the new hood in my hands 20mins later.
A few weeks ago I cleaned out the shop and just remembered finding this pocket knife multi size Torx drives I've never used before.
And with my luck strangely holding true - Pics below:
Even after posting this message, a package that was lost in the post a few months ago and refunded by AusPost was finally delivered today. Thanks,

From Festool Australia. Excellent support as always.
...We are unable to source replacement labels as these are generated sequentially as part of the manufacturing process. However, it is quite easy to remove the label and re-attach it to the new housing. Use a sharp knife to carefully lift one corner of the label so that you can grip it with tweezers or the like. You'll be able to slowly peel it off and most or all of the adhesive will remain on the label, ready to re-adhere to the new housing. We use smooth flat jaw long nose pliers to peel the labels, and they come off quite successfully. If too much of the adhesive does stay on the old housing, you can glue the label on using superglue or the like. ...Thanks,

A follow up email to Festool Aus with a pic of my hood completely missing the label.
Clarified that I wanted a hood label and NOT the vac serial number label.
They'll be sending me a hood label after all!
Not bragging.
But my luck is still running true. Thanks,
