Simple bowl
I rough turned this a while ago and after many other projects for other people I thought I needed to just turn something.
Anyway I pulled the Yew blank from the rough turned pile and got is turned last week and then finished it with 3 coats of Danish Oil gave it a week to dry properly before buffing on a three mop system.
Measures 7 1/2" X 3" it would not hold much soup

I read a comment from a turner whose name I forget saying "if a bowl won't hold soup then it's just art". So that's a nice piece of art you have turned there Derek. As long as I am not trying to eat out of it I much prefer pieces like this with their imperfections the character that that imparts.
